The classic tea blend, with the goodness of Rose Hips & Honeybush . N.O.R.A. is an acronym for Nettles, Oatstraw, Raspberry Leaf, and Alfalfa. We've added rose hips & honeybush for their delightful taste, Vit. C, antioxidants, and to calm your spirit This blend has been traditionally used to support women’s health especially during times of fertility and pregnancy, to support mineral absorption, and overall vitality of the body.
We recommend raw, local, honey to lightly sweeten it, or maple syrup. If you love the taste and iron support, go with Black Strap Molasses. Do not use artificial sweetener. My favorite is warm, with a sqeeze of lemon. It’s a great all day sipper. Caffeine free.
To use, add 1/4 c. loose leaf tea to a french press- I use an 8-cup French press (means it will hold about 4 cups of water, and make 8 (4-ounce) servings). Or use a glass quart mason jar, and pour 4 cups of boiling water over it- you don't have to measure the water, you can just pour over and fill to the top, and cover it. Make it before bed, or in the morning, so it can steep for at least eight hours. Strain, and enjoy for up to three days, storing leftover tea in the fridge. I like making a big batch so you only need to make it once every three days. You can reuse the herbs to make another, weaker, tea infusion. If you want to warm it up, gently heat it up on the stove. Enjoy!
